Bemo/Mini-bus from Kuta to Denpasar
Ten-seater mini-buses, coloured navy-blue, run from Legian to Kuta and on to Tegal Terminal at Denpasar.
Smaller bemo operate only between Kuta and Legian, and you can change to a navy-blue one on Jalan Kuta Raya to Denpasar. These operate regularly until early evening.

TICKET TYPES
There are 2 types of tickets: Kura Kura (Single and Round) Trip Ticket and Day Pass.
1 Day Pass – for unlimited travel on all lines. Ideal for the first-time visitor, explore the most popular areas of Bali at your own pace. See below for fares.
3- and 7-Day Passes are available and are activated from the date you first scan the QR Code once when boarding to the bus. Day Passes can be used by one person at a time only.
3-Day 7-Day Rp. 150,000 to Rp. 250,000 depending on route travelled.
One day is calculated as 72 hours from the time the card is first activated when scan the QR Code Reader. For example, if you tap a 3-Day Pass at 15:00 on 1st April, the card will be valid until 15:00 on 4nd April.
Single Trip Ticket
Buy a single trip ticket along any particular bus line. Single Trip Ticket can be used by one person at a time only, and you cannot use a higher value coin on a lower value route (or vice versa) eg. Rp. 50,000 cannot be used on a line with a fare of Rp. 20,000. Single Trip Ticket can be bought at DFS Bus Bay, Kura-Kura Ticket Booths, and on board the bus.
Round Trip Ticket
Ubud Line Only. Round trip ticket can be purchased at the DFS Bus Bay, Kura-Kura Ticket Booths, bus stop hotels, on board the bus on all lines
Kura-Kura Coin : Available at all Ticket Booths and on board the bus. 1-Day Pass: Available on board the bus.
FARE & PASSES
Each line has a flat fare for a single journey on that particular line and all lines (excl. Seminyak Line) connect through the DFS Bus Bay, near the Kuta Simpang Siur roundabout/ underpass. Fares current in August 2017.

Renting a Car in Bali
There are several good car-hire companies in Bali. The terms are much the same as in other countries, with insurance usually included for the care rented, but not other vehicles if you are involved in an accident. So paying for additional insurance is advisable. An International Driver’s Licence is required, or you can apply for a Tourist Driver’s Licence in Bali.
Daily rates start at around US$25 per day without driver, up to US$70 per day with driver, depending on the type of vehicle.
There are many reasons for renting a car with driver: You will not be personally liable if there is an accident, you don’t need to worry about parking, you won’t get lost, you can leave the car safely if you go sight-seeing. Pretty much hassle-free for the extra. If you read the Rules of the Road in the Transportation chapter you will have a better idea of what I mean.

The easiest way is to book online and pick up the car at the airport, or have the car delivered to your hotel in the southern beaches area.
