Leaving Bandung by Bus

There are two main bus terminals in Bandung.

Leuwi Panjang Terminal is located at Situ Saeur , just off Jalan Soekarno Hatta, on the south side of Bandung serving buses going to the west such as Jakarta, Bogor and Merak.

Cicaheum Terminal is located on Jalan Ahmed Yani, on the north-east side of Bandung serving buses going to the east, such as Cirebon, Garut, Pangandaran, Jogja, Solo, Surabaya, Malang and Bali.

Bandung to Jakarta by Shuttle Bus

Shuttle buses are 6-12 seat mini-vans that travel either door-to-door (from your hotel to the next hotel) which is good for groups, or point-to-point ( from one bus terminal to another). For most travellers point-to-point is the better option and costs around $ 10 per person. Door-to-door costs around $60-70 for the whole vehicle.

Companies that provide shuttle bus services include Cipaganti, 4848, DayTrans, Baraya, Citi Trans, Primajasa, Star Shuttle and X-Trans.

Leaving Bandung by Train

Purchase all tickets to Jakarta, Jogja etc, from the Railway Station at Jln Kebon Jati , corner Jln Kebon Kawung.

There is also a ticketing office at Jln Trunojoyo, Bandung Utara.

KA 80 Kereta Api Lodaya Pagi (Eksekutif & Bisnis) leaves 7.20 am, arrives 4.15 pm ( via Jogja)

KA 82 Kereta Api Lodaya Malam (Eksekutif & Bisnis) leaves 7 pm, arrives 4 am

Bandung to Malang via Surabaya

KA 112/113 Kereta Api Mutiara Selatan (Bisnis) leaves 4.50 pm, stops Surabaya 6.30 am, arrives Malang 9.40 am

 Bandung to Malang via Jogja

KA 92 Kereta Api Malabar (Eksekutif, Bisnis & Ekonomi AC) leaves 3.45 pm, stops Jogja midnight, arrives Malang 7 am

Bandung to Jakarta – Gambir Station

KA 19 to KA 37F Kereta Api Argo Parahyangan (Eksekutif ) leave between 4 am and 9 pm. The trip takes around 3 hours and 20 minutes

Angkot Mini-Bus Bandung

The local public mini-bus transportation covering Bandung city and suburbs is called Angkot, short for Angkutan Kota. The fare ranges from Rp 1,500 to around Rp 7,000 depending on the distance travelled.

Public bus transportation in Bandung is provided by two companies: Trans Metro Bandung (TMB) dan DAMRI. All buses have air-conditioning. The fare starts at Rp 5,000 .
